The cottage is just 10 minutes away from Sheringham town centre and features a variety of pubs, restaurants, and shops. Take the children on a magical steam train ride on the North Norfolk Steam Railway which has stunning scenic views and travels to the market town of Holt. Holt is fabulous for shopping, with many boutique-style shops, art galleries, and a beautiful country park which is made up of 100 acres of woodland.
Fancy a splash in a brand new swimming pool? The Reef Leisure Centre in Sheringham boasts a new 25-metre main pool and a splash pad for everyone to enjoy. Challenge yourself by cycling the busier, hillier routes, towards Runton or explore the flatter, quieter routes towards Sustead. Access to a lockable shed so your bicycles are stored out of the elements.
Doggies
Furry friends, we have thought of you too! Access to a WARM outside shower, so your owners can wash your paws after you have enjoyed the sights and smells of Felbrigg Estate. You will not get bored, with acres of walks to choose from. Even chase the waves at the nearby Sheringham beach. Dogs have all year access to certain areas of the beach so no need to be left out. Go shopping with your owners in the dog-friendly town of Holt and get some special tasty snacks from the independent pet boutiques.
Accessibility
Both properties are suitable for wheelchair users with accessible doors at the front entrances and throughout. A sloped entrance for wheelchair users has been installed at Tamarisk Cottage and the downstairs bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a wheel-in wet room. The ensuite also includes a shower seat, hospital grade non-slip flooring, and a grab rail beside the toilet. Tamarisk Den also has wheelchair accessible doorways and a walk-in shower.
